This B SHARP annual event welcomes talent and audiences of all ages to celebrate music making, including 'Play Me Piano'.

An afternoon of cool but accessible contemporary jazz from the PHILIP CLOUTS TRIO with Philip Clouts on piano, Al Swainger on double bass and Lee Miller on drums.

7.30pm-11pm - MAGGIE BELL & DAVE KELLY

On stage 8 pm, Marine Theatre

Britain’s answer to Janis Joplin, MAGGIE BELL joins DAVE KELLY, founder of the Blues Band and one of the country’s leading blues guitarist, for a performance which promises to pack a punch. This is going to be earthy, soulful and a bit full on from two artists at the top of their game.

Supported by 1/2 JACK, the Dorset-based blues rock band with guest singer Mark Buster McAdam.

Sunday, May 31st:

9.30am-11.30am - JAZZ BRUNCH with CLIVE SMITH’S TRIO

By the Bay Restaurant, Marine Parade

After last year’s hugely successful Brunch, we’re back again to help you kick back and chill on a Sunday morning at By the Bay Restaurant, with fabulous views of the sea, whilst you listen to Clive Smith’s Trio.

Tickets: £12 to include breakfast (any one item from the breakfast menu plus tea or coffee)

7.30pm-10pm - DR FEELGOOD

Onstage 8pm, Marine Theatre

The legendary rockers from Canvey Island present their tough, terse and wildly entertaining version of ‘50s R&B. Mark Thomas, the stand up comedian, cites, Stupidity, by Dr Feelgood as possibly the greatest live album of all time. If that’s only half true, this promises to be one of those nights you’ll never forget. Revel in the Doctors uniquely British brand of rhythm ‘n’ blues - and strap on those dancing shoes.

Weekend Stroller ticket: £50 which includes admission to all events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including Jazz Brunch, plus guaranteed seats for Saturday and Sunday Marine Theatre concerts.
