JELLY JAZZ DJs, Pete Isaac and DJ Griff, hot foot from a successful string of club nights across the South West, will be spinning the decks with jazz-infused floor-fillers, from soul to drum and bass. They’ll be joined on stage for a live set from FRESHLY SQUEEZED, a hi-energy eight piece brass funk band with a strong latin vibe guaranteed to get all you revellers dancing the night away. If you love da funk, you’re gonna love this!

The annual parade leaves from outside the Regent Cinema in Broad Street, led  by Gerry Brown and The Mission Hall Band down the main street and along the seafront. Why not try your hand at winning a prize for the best-decorated brollie?

Listen to Arcadia Jazz Band playing jazz in the Jubilee Pavillion – everything from trad to mainstream – and maybe even a request or two.

Lyme Regis favourite, Gerry Brown with his Mission Hall Band returns to Marine Theatre for an afternoon of jazz in the best New Orleans tradition.

7.45pm - SATURDAY SWING FEVER, Marine Theatre

Pedigree Jazz Band help recreate the 1930s and 40s with a dance master-class to help you jump an’ jive via the Lindy Hop then slink and slide your way to the Blues.  Prizes for best vintage outfits. A great night of music, movement and uninhibited fun.

Sunday, June 1st:

10.30am-1.30pm - JAZZ BRUNCH with Philip Clouts and Heather Wensley, Marine Theatre

Tickets: £10 includes Brunch menu plus coffee/tea

A scrumptious Sunday Jazz Brunch of impossibly cool jazz courtesy of Philip Clouts, on piano and Heather Wensley’s sultry blues vocals and a specially created feast, courtesy of Aroma, with home-made and locally sourced ingredients – what better way to start Sunday? Order up a Buck’s Fizz or a Bloody Mary from the bar and you’ve got the perfect prelude to a rollicking Geno Washington finale later that evening.

7.45pm - GENO WASHINGTON & The YO-YOS, Marine Theatre

Tickets: £15 standing/£18 seated

By popular demand soul man Geno returns to Lyme Regis to bring the weekend to a foot-stomping, feel-good finale.  This master of 60s R&B, he’s the ultimate live act – belting out raw soul from a man as if his life depended upon it. Don’t miss him.
